Whoscall.com – The online version of Whoscall’s number lookup feature.
This includes an experimental store search function limited to Taiwan, built with React.js to implement a single-page application (SPA) for a phone directory feature. It also utilizes python-react for static rendering (this project was taken offline due to a change in company plans).
I was responsible for both the frontend and backend development of the website. The site was built to be responsive (RWD) across devices and compatible with major browsers, including Android, iPhone, and Windows Phone browsers, and supported six languages.
Collaborating with a Korean designer and API engineers, I worked on the frontend page structure and backend API integrations. I also deployed the site using Jenkins to Google Cloud Engine with HTTP Load Balancing.
For frontend automation, we used Webpack and Gulp.js, which included tasks such as Minify, SVG Sprite, ES2015 to ES5 transpiling, and Critical CSS handling.
